- 1 Tomato chopped
- Cilantro to garnish
- 1 small Potato cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup Carrot cut into small pieces
- 1/4 tbsp Ground Turmeric (Haldi powder)
- 1/2 cup Green peas
- 1/4 tbsp Cayenne or Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- Start the instant pot on Sauté mode and warm ghee in it. Add onions and allow them to brown. Then add ginger paste. Allow them to cook for a moment. Then add tomatoes and cook till soften. Add Cumin seeds (Zeera), Salt, Ground Turmeric (Haldi powder), Cayenne or Red chili powder.
- Add all the veggies and spices. Stir them well.
- Add the lentils, rice, and water. Stir them well with the veggies.
